I'm on a Curve 8310 running .99 and I try to view about under options, and it won't open... When I goto the event log, here's what I find:

Did you use crackmem and/or delete voice activated dialing?
If you have a curve press alt key right cap key and h at the same time. You will see the info.

I'll asume you update to 4.5.099

One of the quirks with 4.5 is the about screen function, a small price to pay for the added benefits of 4.5 IMO.
