I have a curve 8320 (t-mobile service). Two days ago it stopped receiving emails. The only way I can even send an email is to respond to one that's still in my message folder. The email does not get delivered however. I get this email sent to me instead-
Undeliverable: RIM_bca28a80-e9c0-11d1-87fe-00600811c6a2

Phonecalls and texts work fine. So does the browser and calendar.

I also set up another email address on the handheld and I was able to receive emails with the new email address. I also deleted my primary email account and re-created it to no avail.

Lastly, when I start the desktop manager, it initially recognizes that the device is connected and then promply can't find it.

Tried hard reboots several times.
Message after the reboot:
uncaught exception: java.lang.nullpointerexception.

The message icon shows that I have unread messages but when I try to view them, I get this message:
uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(208) is not responding. process terminated.

I am willing to wipe the hadheld and restore factory setting (I've backed upped all my info) if there is no other solution. Just thought there might be something less drastic.
