    I just got a BB 8310 today. I'd like to send a PIN message but when I open up the menu in the message list, I don't get the option to compose a PIN message. HELP, what do I do??

    Hmmm, not sure if I have a data plan but BB messenger is installed. This is a company provided BB so I don't know what kind of plan I have.

    The company may have disabled PIN Messaging. Do you get email on your phone? If you do, i'm pretty sure that means you have a data plan.

    Yes, I get email so maybe you're right that they disabled PIN messaging.

    You need to talk to the "IT" person in your company.

    The IT person should be able to let you know if they have to set it up or if they don't allow pin messaging......
