Hi all. New BB user here. My father retired and I got his Work Curve which was on his work's plan. I want to remove the security settings from the phone but have been unable to. There is a little red lock next to the options to change password protection and content protection. I have wiped the phone. I believe his employer required that all the phones of theirs be password protected. I am not on his employers plan, I am on my own. Anyway that I can remove these security features?

Its got an IT policy on it. You can ask your dads IT dude to remove that device, but I also know there are a few threads here on How to remove an IT policy.
