so in my settings > advanced> browser
I only see Media net and hotspot browser for default browser config and default WAP browser config. From what i understand its supposed to be there??? I would like it because if im correct, it will convert jad for me, and I can get my hands on AIM, i normally use opera mini, but hit brick walls when it comes to OTA, any help please?

Hotspot Browsers is WiFi browser. I think you are looking for Blackberry or Internet Browser. There should be 3 options. Hotspot, Internet and t-zones.

You can also try starting the BB browser and then go to Menu > Options > General Properties, Default Browser.

thanks man, based on the tutorials they didnt call it hotspot hence my confusion, I got to install something OTA and everything is good now, thanks!!

Prior to OS 4.5 (when a lot of the Tutorials were written) the browser configs were call BlackBerry and Wifi. Now they're called internet and Hotspot.
