For some reason, I can't find or see the pictures or ringtones that I have on my device memory. When I look at the Media > Pictures > My Picture, all I see is what I have on the media card. When I look at the Media > Ringtones, all I get is the standard ringtones. There is no device memory folder in either the picture or ringtone folder.

I know that the pictures exist somewhere (probably on my device memory) because it still shows up as my wallpaper. I know that the ringtones exists because I can still use them as custom ringtones.

How do I view what's on my device memory folder?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To view them go to media>explore>media card or device memory...

Go to your media and hit menu-explore. And you can get to the device memory that way

Thanks for the suggestions. I stumbled upon the media > explore > device memory > home > user late last night, but there's nothing in those folders. I know that they aren't on my media card. Any idea where they could be? Thanks.

Well, I hooked my BB up to my PC and found that along with the pictures I could see, there was a folder on my media card (sorry, I was barking up the wrong tree) called Blackberry. And in this folder, were the pictures and ringtones that I was missing.

So, knowing that I went back into my BB and started looking at the various menu options. Well, I found the following: media > explore > media card > show hidden > blackberry > pictures and there they were. I don't know how the folder became "hidden", but at least I know where they are.

Does anybody know how I managed to do that? Was it something I did in the desktop manager?

    Thanks,

more than likely it was done on the phone itself. you can go to your pictures and hit menu>hide, and then you have to go the path you took to look for them and unhide them.
