Hi all

I have an 8320 and I think did a software upgrade recently (core application version 4.2).

I used to be able to backup using Desktop manager but now the Backup and Restore buttons are greyed out.

I checked this out 2 different times.

Other facts:
With my USB cable I'm able to charge the BB and it prompts me for the PIN which makes me think the device is being recognized.

When I click Media Manager it says my device isn't connected using a USB cable - but it's the same cable that worked before!

Any idea why I can't backup? Thanks!!

try using a different usb port

Well you were right! I didn't have USB selected as the port. Duh!
