I just got this phone from my wife. She never had a memory card so I need to buy one. I was looking at the SDSDQ-4096 MicroSDHC Memory Card My question is, BestBuys Compatibility Program/Chart doesn't show this card compatible with the 8330. But I'm sure you guys can answer this one! Thanks much! Also please tell me the "type or size" of the card I have look for if I go to the store, I know a lot of them are different sizes, and I want to get the right one the first time. Also how much should I expect to pay for this.

Yes. It must be a microSD card. Be careful of buying cards on eBay. They have been several threads on these forums re: fake cards from China sold on eBay.

Any micro sd will fit I think the max u can go is 8 gigs.. Could be wrong but I think bb's prefer good ole san disk sd's

OS versions 4.5.0.81 and above can use 16GB cards.
OS versions 4.6 and above can use 32GB cards.

Purchase it from a reputable source (not eBay) and you will be fine.

Wow, just realized where the memory card sits, there is no metal strap to keep it in place, I am assuming there is supposed to be one (never used a BB so not sure) or does the battery keep it in place? Got my hopes up for nothing lol.

There is supposed to be a metal clip that locks the card down.
