i guess the above pretty much says it all. i haven't gotten the phone yet bec. i live in Mexico and will be putting a pre-paid SIM into it.

My question is, there are lots (well, more or less) of hot spots in Mexico now and i've also got WiFi at home. Can i use the 8320 to connect to these networks with this type of phone like for example the Archos?

Thanks for your replies and have a great morning!

That is one feature that particular Curve has that I wish mine had. It will work with most wireless routers for WiFi data.

Oh, Dark, that was an awesome answer! i gotta remind you that the service i will have is on a "pre-paid" SIM card but if i can get WiFi, uf! i'm gonna buy the phone. i'll prob. buy it anyway since it looks like i can actually create and edit documents on it, too.

Thanks for your reply and have a great morning!

    Dear frazelle09

From checking out the Forums a little bit better, it seems that the consensus is that this 8320 can be used without a Data Plan and still get access to WiFi hotspots and whatever Home network one has set up. Wow! Great!

    Have a great afternoon!
