Having a problem with camera- when icon or button is pushed it tells me to close applications and try again

i can't figure what applications i have open or would need to close- was working when i got it (6 mos ago) but has been this way for a couple of weeks

i tried pulling battery - but no success

advice?

Have AT&T replace it under warranty. That is the suggestion from a similar thread.

Find out how much memory is free on your device. Press the left Alt, Right CAPS and H at the same time.

Mine is at 17698142.

Also how many pictures do you have saved to the phone? Do you have a memory card?

Having your device filled with pictures can lead to this issue as well.

Also trying re-installing your OS after doing a complete wipe of the device.
