After reseting to factory settings, my camera freezes the BB and leaves a black box in the screen. Removing the battery puts the screen back to normal...what can I do to resolve this?

    Thanks,
    JV

what OS are you running? So a batt pull will resolve it, will a soft reset do the same.

I just updated to the .99...
The black box problem is gone, but, now I get a message about closing other apps before camera can start. Problem is...no other apps are open.
Same msg with video camera as well.

    thx

worst case do a wipe and reload, but first you can back up your messages and 3rd party apps if you need to.

I have the same issue with my camera.
Wiping, reloads, batt pulls, updating to new version... nothing helps. I just gave up

I have plenty of memory, about 20MB. someone told me that might happend when the phone is dropped, etc.
I do not use a micro SD card, it caused lots of turn offs with old OS, but I might put it in again and see what happens.

Besides, I have nothing to save since camera is not worknig anyways...
