I was wondering if there is an app that would let you see the name of the people calling you without that number in your contacts, like the caller ID on your home phone. I looked and the only thing I could find was privus and I am not paying that much for it. I am looking for it to show the name before you answer the call. Thanks for all your help.

You Mail is cool it doesnt show up like caller id when someone calls but it show you their first and last name and number once the call is ended it is more like visual voicemail I LOVE IT

rogers in canada offers that as a service with caller id
maybe verizon has it too?

There is a paid version that will work but only after the call is completed. Kind of pointless after the call.
