I had an uncught exception error when using the browser,tech support had me reload operating system. After doing this now during incoming calls caller ID only shows the number. Anybody no what I'm doing wrong.

Does the number calling, match a contact in your address book? If the number isn't the same as what you have in your address book, it will come up as unknown caller.
Do you have a password on your BlackBerry and Content Protection including the address book enabled? If you include the address book, the Caller ID can't look up the name. I don't know why reloading the OS would turn this on if it wasn't on previously, however.

3 possible solutions: 1 add the area code to contact entries, 2 don't include address book in content protection, 3 phone > options > smart dialing > check that country code and area code are configured. I am certain one or more of these will correct it.
