I have tried to install several apps on the 8830 (VZW) CNN, CNBC Fox News etc. The pages seem to load fine, buy there are all these little boxes throughout the page that looks like there should be pictures there. Am I missing a setting somewhere or does the BB browser not support pictures? Thanks.

make sure all boxes are check

show images: on wml & html
emulation mode: blackberry

clear your cache then open the brower again.

These BB's can be finicky with memory as well. I was having a horrible time to get pages to load. It would just say "requesting" forever. I deleted all my cache,cookies etc. And it started browsing fine again!

I switched over to the Opera after reading a couple reviews on here, and it's the best decision I've made in at least 4 years.
