I just signed up for a copy of Bolt beta and got it almost instantly so people that want to give it a go should go to their site and give a referral code of Crackberry before they are all gone.
It is pretty choppy, but it seems to run faster than Opera on my phone. I like the option of being able to change graphics quality... That seemed to help cut down on some of the choppy-ness.

The page loading is lightening fast, but actually moving the cursor around with the trackball is slower than molasses. It's got potential (and I think it runs really well on the Bold, look at Kevin's video), but it's just not ready for primetime on the Curve yet. Nonetheless, it's useful for sites I can't get to on the bb browser, so it's replaced Opera for me.
I've had it for about a week and I love it. It loads fast on my curve and I use the 2 4 6 8 buttons to move around bc the cursor is slow. Set up the favorites and its great. Some bugs but I love it.
