I have a Curve 8310 (AT&T), a Toshiba laptop (NOT natively Bluetooth enabled!), a Bluetooth adapter (third party -- attaches via USB port), and Desktop Manager 4.6.
Now, I can get the Bluetooth adapter (and hence the laptop) to pair with the Blackberry just fine. I have successfully sent my address book to the laptop over Bluetooth.
But for some reason, Desktop Manager refuses to acknowledge the Bluetooth circuit's existence! The "enable Bluetooth" box in Connection Options is grayed out. If DM refuses to admit that a Bluetooth connection is even possible, it sure won't allow me to wirelessly sync.
How can I get DM to admit my Bluetooth dongle exists?
