On my old WM phone, I could pair the phone with my laptop so I could see it as a Mass Storage Device and copy things back and forth over Bluetooth. I have not been able to do this with the BB, as it shows up a moden when trying to pair it. Is there a way to do this or am I stuck carrying the cable and plugging it in each time?

i know my buddy syncs to his laptop using bluetooth, ill ask him to try mass storage device option.

I don't think you can do a file transfer with the plain vanilla BT driver in windows. There are 3rd party dongles with drivers that support the function. I have Belkin that will do it.
