I have an 8330.
I stupidly pumped up a tune on the external speaker for my daughter to hear, which was all fine. Then I went to receive numerous calls, and my earpiece sounds like crap (like blown speakers in a car). Not completely gone, but definitely fried. I thought the external speaker was different than the actual earpiece on the front? I thought they were two separate things? Am I wrong? It's not under warranty, and I've seen a lot of replacement OEM speakers online, but no earpieces? But maybe they're the same thing!? Help! Thanks!

Bump....

I just dropped mine and now the earpiece speaker is blown......

Any idea where to get a replacement? However i do have the Sprint insurance plan.....

I thought mine was blown also. However, some days it sounds blown and some days it is crystal clear. It not only confuses me, but pisses me off.

well, i had the earpiece speaker replaced by sprint, now it works just fine... however they upgraded my OS from .169 to .175 with out telling me so we'll see how this goes......... I'm not happy so far.
