hey,

i tried googling this problem but to no avail.

my blackberry crashes (shuts down with a black screen and red light, reboots with hourglass and then verifies security software) every time I try to download a theme for example, or send an mp3 via bluetooth. what's going on?

It is possible that your memory is low. What is the file free after it reboots?

Menu key > Options > Status

You could have a corrupted media file or media card. Take the media card out and try to boot it up. Or you may have downloaded a conflicting app. I can only make suggestions.
