I recently bought what was supposed to be a "NEW" BB Curve 8300 off of ebay. The PIN # is registered to a Pearl and the IMEI # is registered to the Curve. I cannot receive internet access because of this. Is there any way to change my PIN to a curve pin so that internet access would be possible? Seller has pretty much dumped on me, so exchange or refund is not an option.

The PIN is unique to the device and cannot be changed. How do you know it's registered to a Pearl? Anyway, I think you have to get the original carrier to release the PIN.

It cant be registered (pin) to anything else BUT that device.. seems like all you have to do is call to have it all released.

BB tech support researched the phone and found out this info. They said that the #'s had been modified.

That's the problem. I don't know who the original carrier was.
