    By Pin, the other party must have a BB - hence BBMessenger, get thier pin (you can find it under Options, status)

    Open BBM, menu key, add contact, enter pin, they will get a request.

    There is also an option to add by email, however, being around these forums, this is not a ery good way to add, they will either be stuck on pending, or whatever, so pin is the quickest, easiest way.

    Also make sure you type in the PIN correctly, RIM uses the hexidecimal system, Letters A-F numbers 0-9
