Hey everybody I was wondering why I cant see the BB maps icon on my 8310? I recently downloaded OS V4.5 and lost the icon. I can still see it in my apps list but it is nowhere to be found on the main menu.

    ANY IDEAS??

Try a battery pull with the BB on, wait 30 seconds then reinstall the battery.

Either that or from the menu screen click the bberry menu button and see if the icon is hidden and un-hide it.

you have to log into your bis account and at the bottom there is a link that says service books, you want click it and it will say resend service books, or you have to hit the menu key to resend service books.

*im not sure if thats the problem, but its worth a shot.

Try Email Settings > Service Books > Send Service Books. At least that's how Verizon is.

its your email settings icon. when you set up your email on your bb, you had to create a username and a password. you have to log in with the same username and password.. once you do that, scroll to the bottom of the page, it will say service books

i think you then have to log out, and then do a battery pull to finish the process
