Hi, I just got a free Blackberry 8310 curve and I was wondering If I can install a new ROM with Internet E-mail set up. I think I have the Enterprise Edition. Is there any available ROMs out there? Any response in appreciated. Cheers.
Enterprise is when the place you work at has a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) that your BB connects to and pulls from information in Exchange (Outlook). Internet e-mail would be like your home ISP (Roadrunner, Insight, GMail, etc..). When you get service with AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. and add the Blackberry Data plan you should be able to start using the Internet e-mail directly on the BB (may require you to pull the battery and reboot the phone for that option to show up).
