Blackberry Icons for PC ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
GO TO THE LINK AT THE TOP OF THIS POST. IT IS UPDATED WITH ICONS FOR ALL MODELS AND CARRIERS.
PLEASE LEAVE ALL COMMENTS THERE
I made this icon when my friend originally got his Curve for Alltel when it came out May 1, 2008. I have used it for mine as well since getting my Curve a few days ago.
It adds an Alltel Blackberry Curve 8330 icon and displays your device as "Blackberry Curve 8330" when plugged in.
Instructions:
Extract the archive onto your Blackberry's MicroSD card.
You can hide the ico file and autorun.inf if you wish.
If you already have an autorun.inf file on your MicroSD card for some reason (Slacker), you can edit it to include the information found in the autorun.inf in the archive.
The icon will show up under My Computer the next time you hook the device up.
If anyone wants a different icon, color, whatever, let me know and I'll post it.
I may do icons for all Blackberry Models and colors and carriers and create a listing under Software or Discussion or something.
Think of this as a sample of my work ^_^

71chev, you download it on your PC, extract the archive onto your blackberry SD cards. When you plug in your blackberry next, it should show up.
I'll work on that Sprint Titanium one, will update original post with it.
Thanks for the file! It worked great... and looks awesome! I just changed the autorun.inf to 8310 and and renamed the icon as well after I unzipped it onto my BB. The sweet thing is that it matches my 8310 titanium perfect since I switched out my keyboard for a black one.
Is there any chance that you can change the icon color so the phone would be red to go with a red 8310?
You just need to move the 2 files to the root of the sd card through windows. No dm needed. I would say don't rename the ico to keep them seperated. I plan to have many many different icons. Any specific carrier on that red 8310? I will have some more up later tonight with a new thread. Will link to it when created.
