I have a brand new blackberry curve and for whatever reason the ringtone is muted and thus I missed all my calls. I can't figure it out and I;ve tried searching the forum, but no luck. Does anybody know how to get the ringtone back?

Check your Profiles... which profile is active?

Profile (loud) is active.

If you have not tried already, go to Menu > Profiles and see what your phone is set to. Also by clicking on the profiles you can edit them if necessary.

Hello and welcome!

Make sure the Out of Holster and In Holster are set on Tone or Vibrate+Tone. Also make sure that Volume is not on Mute.

Both out of and in holster are set on vibrate & tone, and volumn is set at medium. Also the phone was ringing at one point.

Then do this, with the BB powered on, remove the battery, hold a second, replace and allow it to reboot. Try again.
