So I was at a party last night and i pulled out my blackberry and it was off. So I held the red power button down to turn it on. It didn't work of course so I took out the battery. When I put the battery in a red light went on near the top right of the phone. It took about one min. Till it went off. Then the screen went white and an hour glass started to turn on the screen. This lasted for about 2 mins and then the telus logo showed! Everything booted up normally and I tried to go into SMS. It wouldn't open... Like I could move the select circle around. But I couldn't open anything. This was quite odd. So I tried a hard rest and just took the battery out! Everything booted up the same way and nothing changed. I don't have a data plan and this phone is off it's 3 year contract. What can I do?
