Hi, I upgraded my BB 8310 the other day to V4.5.0.152 because I wanted to be able to record video but thing is that when I upgraded it it changed the way my messages and my contact list are displayed. can someone help me fix this or at least tell me how to go back to my old version I would rather that because I cant even use the video application because it tells me that I need a media card.
Also when I go to options>about the version it says that i have is V4.5.0.110.

the highest version for 8310 is .124, i dont know where you downloaded this from but i would download this one..

I think the OP posted the package version

v4.5.0.152 = OS 4.5.0.110 (latest official ATT OS)

As Tae stated the newest for the 8310 is .124

To downgrade you can go to blackberry.com and get the older version which is 4.2.2 - its near the bottom of the download page.

Thank you this all really helped. I now have V4.5.0.124 but my problem with how my messages and contact list are displayed is still the same.
has did this happen to anyone else?

Maybe I am reading this wrong but you were on OS 4.5 and wanted to go back down to 4.2 to get the way the contact list and messages looked so you upgraded from OS OS 4.5.0.110 to OS 4.5.0.124?? Why.... Any version of the 4.5 OS will have the same look to the messages/contact list... Which is what you do not want..

You would need to downgrade as I posted in post #5 to get the older OS back. It can be downloaded at blackberry.com. Once you follow the link in post 5 and get back on the older OS you will be set........

Sorry newbie here. thanks ill try this. just one more question Can you get the video recorder without upgrading to a new OS? for example downloading it as a application.

The video recorder is part of the newer OS. Which do you want more the look of the older settings (I know what you mean I hated it at first, now I dont mind the look of 4.5) or the recorder?
