I first found this forum a few weeks ago when I bricked my Blackberry 2 days after getting it. I have since resurrected it and gotten hooked. Since it's an unlocked used BB that's no longer under warrenty, I'm ready to dive in and replace the housing.

I love the look of a blacked out Stealth curve, but I can't find black home keys for a 8310 ANYWHERE, do these not exist? I don't want to use 8330 housing because I'm afraid it's going to cause screen popping and keypad issues, am I just SOL?

I believe the only phone that the black homerow keys are made for is the 8330. The keys for the 8320 are shaped differently than then keys for the 8320 which is why you can't find the black ones for your phone.

That thread is one where a girl is using a 8320 housing on her 8330 with the black keys. You can see that the keys do not fit properly but she is making it work.

i believe there are a few people that have used the 8330 keys on an 8310 or 8320. look around for some of the threads

after a little looking around, it seems that you DO have to change the whole housing, but it will work.
