I know these forums are riddled with a variety of help and advice for setting this up but I just cannot get mine to work.

I have a 1and1 exchange account, therefore in theory I can set up my BIS 2.4 using either outlook exchange web access route or the POP3/IMAP route - frankly I dont care which as long as one works. I have exhausted the web access route with all the permutations and it wont work. So I have tried IMAP. However I get stuck on the very ambiguous field of Email server:

I am on the set-up page that asks for email address: (easy to do), User name: (not so easy - could be email address or long 'e' number), Password: (easy) and then Email Server: (dont know what to put).

Am I even on the right page for IMAP?

Of course if someone knows the exchange web access issues too that would help (I've read the BIS troubleshoot guide and that hasnt worked).

Anyone? Anywhere?

I have a 1&1 e-mail.

Mine is set as:
email server - pop.oneandone.co.uk
email server type - POP3

User name is the long number, mines starts pt(then long number)
