I have 4.5.0.44 on my 8320 and my friend just got a 8330 a few days ago and we have 30 mb file total difference. Is that right? Why would an 8330 have so much more memory. I just don't think that should be right and if it is, it dang sure ain't right.

The CDMA version of the Curve has 96mb vs 64mb on the GSM Curves. That's just the way it was made - it is technically a different model.

Yeah, it is kinda nuts. I just switched from a vzw pearl to a Curve and the memory difference is amazing.

This is normal. The Sprint and VZW Curves have 96Mb onboard RAM, and the GSM have 64!

You can always free up some of your memory and get rid of extra bulk in your OS. Follow Stoner's guide in my signature

And, remember, although you have less free RAM... at least you have WiFi

Yea I have cleared memory but the fact they start with a crap load more blows on so many levels. Yea I will just laugh at the fact I have wi fi and find a spot where they have no service and make a call if there is wifi lol. (Like my in-laws)
