Okay, so one of the employees in our company is having the issue with the error "Unable to connect to Selected Data Service".

Here's the thing...He's no longer on BES. He was deleted from our system.

I looked around, and didn't find anything to relate 100% to BIS, so I figured I would post. He can send and receive emails via BIS, but cannot gain access to the browser. Ideas?

Also, as a side question. I have read that wiping the BB via security wipe in the menu gets rid of the IT policy. Is this true, or does the policy file HAVE to be edited?

    Thanks Ahead of Time!

AFAIK, the only way to remove an IT policy is to do a wipe using the option to remove the IT policy using a tool like JLcmdr or other similar tool.

So short of having to re-import policy.bin or use jlcmdr, is there any way I can get the internet back up on the blackberry?

I know that I had an issue just like this going from BIS service to BIS/BES service. I called T-mobile, they deleted feature, then added them again. Problem solved! Good luck!
