Curve has a multitude of possibilities for a problem. I get the white background, white battery, and a blue lightning bolt through it. I'm thinking it could be anything from a bad connection, bad charger, dead battery, or bad OS.

The pearl doesn't have a problem internally (Just a broken power button I fixed easily). I'm giving those specs in case I could use it to my advantage. It's old, but works like a champ still.

Also, I connected the curve to my computer, and it immediately recognized "Blackberry device". Which leads me to believe it's an OS problem. Any fixes? Any opinions? Please help.

Try charging the batteries with your PC instead of using the charger - plug in to the computer with your usb cable. If they still won't charge, it rules out a bad charger and will probably mean you need a new battery. Sometimes they'll give you a used one at your provider's store, but usually they'll make you buy one. good luck.
