Blackberry Pearl 8130:
Lithium Ion battery, 3.7V, BAT-11004-001
Roughly a year old
Curve has a multitude of possibilities for a problem. I get the white background, white battery, and a blue lightning bolt through it. I'm thinking it could be anything from a bad connection, bad charger, dead battery, or bad OS.
The pearl doesn't have a problem internally (Just a broken power button I fixed easily). I'm giving those specs in case I could use it to my advantage. It's old, but works like a champ still.
Also, I connected the curve to my computer, and it immediately recognized "Blackberry device". Which leads me to believe it's an OS problem. Any fixes? Any opinions? Please help.06-08-10 09:49 PMLike 0 - Try charging the batteries with your PC instead of using the charger - plug in to the computer with your usb cable. If they still won't charge, it rules out a bad charger and will probably mean you need a new battery. Sometimes they'll give you a used one at your provider's store, but usually they'll make you buy one. good luck.
