so my friend updated her blackberry, during the restore it encountered an error, so she unplugged her phone and reset it only for it to continually lock up at the hourglass, and what's worse is the computer won't even pick up the blackberry now, any suggestions or solutions?
edit: app error 552 just popped up after being left on for 30mins

it sounds like your friend now has a "bricked" blackberry, search the forum for "how to reload operating system on a nucked blackberry", follow the instructions and they should help you get it fixed because i had the same prob updating a friends 8330 so i checked this out and finally got his up and running 5.0
