I don't think it's possible to begin with, but those videos would look pretty awful on a TV. They are really low resolution.

Umm.... NO

There is no video out on any BB devices... and as Smaug stated... the resolution on the videos is meant for a small BB screen, not a TV!

And i don't think you can use the curve as a DVD player. The Disc are too big to fit in the curve.

lol, i dont want to insert DVd into my bb curve,
why not ,, i use my bb curve with my pioneer 50" to stream sound and it is so nice ,,
about picture size, thats not the issue maybe the software can compensate the resolution and bring a nicer picture..
any way .. i am still looking for solution if you have any plz let me know...

Their is potential to be two way with the "Unify4Life" remote control that is coming out in the fall. Sure the resolution would not be great, but it is possible.

Dude, just get a video iPod and use that. That's how I transport my favorite movies anyhow.
