How do I reset my phone. When I select rest the phone just shuts off. Can anyone help?

do a battery pull. pull the battery out, wait 30 seconds and then put it back in. see if this helps...

First calm down and take a deep breath. Its not the end of the world and it CAN be fixed and you don't have to be a genius to do it.

What was your friend trying to find? Your code? How was your friend trying to do it?

I will work you through this if I can.
