I got my 8330 a month ago. It was fantastic on battery life. All of a sudden withhin the last week, I get 4-6 hours out of the charge.

I was guessing maybe it had something to do with the amount of emails I GOT and are stored...does storage waste battery? I mean, I had no emails 1 day and it still only had 4-6 hours out of it. So its not the amount of emails I'm getting. I was wondering what could be wrong...

too many pictures on it..? i have no clue?

If you leave apps running in the background it will chew up your battery

How do you "EXIT" apps running in the background?

    Menu>Close or Exit

hold alt and press the arrow key (next to the trackball) to scroll through the list of open apps. some will always be open such as the call log. but if you see app icons there go into them and hit menu then close to close them. mine always show 5 on the list when all my apps are closed out.

There's always 5 or 6 running. When you exit an app, press the menu key, then roll to and click close.

Note: Nice edit Chrisy. Etiquette is important

Here's a link to something you might want to review to solve your battery problem -- after you do a reset. Press alt-right shift-delete. Then follow the link in my signature to the memory optimization guide.

No, do the reset to close everything running in the background and free memory. Then close apps as I said above. Then do the stuff at the links I gave you.
