- I've been having a problem lately with my battery: During phone calls my phone begins to make a buzzing sound and then dies. The phone will not power back on until it is plugged into the charger. The problem is that when this happens the battery indicates a full charge and I always charge it every night so I'm not sure if the battery is unable to hold a charge of if the battery indicator is malfunctioning. I'm not sure whether to just go ahead and buy a replacement battery - any advice much appreciated.04-09-09 11:26 AMLike 0
- I had the same problem, Tmobile even sent several replacement 8320 Curve handsets, but it didnt fix the problem, because they didnt send a replacement battery and I had to use the same battery. Finally, I went to a Tmobile corporate store and they gave me a replacement battery to try, and its been working ever since.04-09-09 11:50 AMLike 0
- If it were me with this problem, I'd take it to the place I bought the phone and have them take a look at it. The easy thing would be to replace the battery to see if the buzzing and shut off still happens. If it does you know the phone is the problem.
If you have not had the phone long, you may be able to get a free replacement battery, if not the battery should not cost too much.
If you then find out the problem is in fact the phone, and you have owned the phone less than a year, the warranty should replace it for free.04-09-09 11:56 AMLike 0
