    my dads curve battery door is stuck. It won't move at all. Any suggestions?

    Try sticking a knife or something right where the latch is.

    Very odd! Mine will pop off if I put pressure near the bottom and push up - Give that a shot if you dont want to take a knife to it yet

    They come off really easily usually, no idea how one could get stuck

    the latch works fine its stuck toward the top.

    Try to put pressure where the grooved latches are on the battery door
    There are 6 little tabs taht catch the mid plate when you slide it down. try putting pressure down on these as you slide it up.

    This might sound destructive but i put my nail where the flash is and pull up and that usually pops it all lose. Mine has also been stuck before and that worked for me.
