    I hear static noise in the background when i make a call, recieve a call, play music, record a voice message and play it back. If I plug headphones, it is easily heard.

    Any ideas?

    If your BB is less than 12 months old, take it in for a warranty exchange.

    What you are describing involves more than one speaker on the phone. It may be the electronics in the BB itself that is defective.

    The second one had a similar problem (the first was because the camera kept freezing the phone)
