    Hello All,

I think I did the "Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option". I went into the file to view it and I could not open file, does that mean I did not do the "back up process" correctly? I am getting ready to download OS 4.5 so that I can take my own videos and receive videos. I am computer challenged to say the least and hope I can do this process without a hitch (pray for me)!!

The backups made with Desktop Manager are not "viewable" with other programs. they are designed to used to restore should the need arise. There are a few 3rd party programs that can open and modify some of the backup data.

Video side will depend on the size of your SD card. I have an 8gig card and I think I read some where that that would allow me to shoot a 9 hour video with my Curve.

I was told that the Curve 8310 will not take the 8 GB memory card. Is that true?

SD card sizes are OS dependent. This link lists the sizes:http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/tip-...ckberry-91909/
