I just swapped out my phone today. The curve 8330 I got on 2/14 bite the dust this morning. Keep freezing up......

Now, the back light won't go off. I have it set to 10 seconds under Options. But nada.....Anyone have this problem? I've tried the "battery remove" already. Didn't work. Tried just turning the phone off, still nothing. I'm afraid this is going to fry my battery being on all day, and it's just flat out annoying at this point!!!

Wow.... I totally wish I had that problem.. I hate the auto shut off feature.. I would try maybe backing up the BB to your desktop, and doing a complete wipe.. but beware it deletes ur address book so be sure to back that up too..

Did you pull the battery with the phone still on? That is the proper way to do a reset. If you turned the BB off first, before removing the battery, that doesn't always work.

i have the same problem!! any fixes please!

I did both soft and hard reset.. took out the batt and put it back as well.. blacklight won't turn off still!

I have the curve 8330 as well.
