Is there a way to set an audible reminder for a missed call? Say your blackberry is sitting on the table, you leave the room, miss a call. When I come back to the room, I'm always checking my phone to see if a call came in. I know the light blinks red, but I do not get an audible alert. For my last windows smartphone I was able to download a separate program that would vibrate and make an audible alert every min if you missed a call. This would keep happening until you pressed any key to silence the alert.
There is a great 3rd party app called BlackBerry Alerts that will do just what you're looking for. Can set up for SMS and BBM as well. Great app. Google BlackBerry Alerts -- I think it's $10 or so.
There isn't an option natively for an audible alert. There may be some 3rd party software that will do that. Hopefully someone comes along that may know of one.
To install connect BB to compter Open desktop manger Click applications loader If you are usingv4.6 click start under add/remove Go to browse, find BB alerts, open folder It should show up on the applications loader. Click next, and it should download to handheld. hope it helps.
when i open the desktop manager, find the file and click on it I get a message saying something like the files contain no application for the device. Dont know what to do
