The only snag I'm running into, until further notice, is that I can't find a link for the .124 OS that includes my Software Platform & Application version. Are there multiple links to the .124 that include different Software Platform & Application versions?

Okay, problem! I am attempting to download the file for the .124 OS upgrade, and after about 2-3 minutes of downloading, it errors out, saying "Internet Explorer cannot download .....92_A4.5.0.124_Indosat.exe from Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com.

The connection to the server was reset.

    Any suggestions?

Do I Run, or Save the OS file?

You want to run it and let it install on your PC then navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and delete the Vendor.xml file.

I strongly suggest you Save it first, then Run the local copy.

If you Run it, the process may fail if there is a time out error at a critial time.

Okay, I'm not as frustrated as I was earlier, as the download has, knock on wood, finally started and gotten up to 15% as of now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Blackngray70, if this works, I feel like I owe you lunch or something! lol

Yeah, I found a forum on it... I think it was in the OS Beta forum... said something about OS 5 confirmed for 83xx.

Okay, I just found a post on the forum that said there were no plans to "officially" release OS 5 for any device below OS 4.6, which would include the 83xx. I was going off of what the subject of the thread, OS 5 for 83xx Confirmed for May 4.
