    I recently purchased a BB 8330 ( the e model i guess), and I want to assign a specific ringtone for text messages and email alerts. Any one know how this can be done?

    Profiles then advanced. Hit the menu key and edit the active profile. If you want a specific ringtone, sms for a specific contact follow this. http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...contact-48275/
