Got my new Curve from Sprint, and I love it....BUT My old non-smart phone would show me what state an incoming call was coming from. The BB does not. Anything that I can change?

I have not found an option to do that on my 8830WE.

there used to be an app called Berry-a-code that show the City and State of the incoming calls ( if the call was not listed on your address book).

Ask around if anyone here still has the app.

I dunno if I did something wrong, but I followed the directions when trying to install it on my Sprint 8330 and it froze the phone "locked" after I installed it. I did a battery pull and when it restarted it still froze "locked". I used the Desktop Application Loader to remove it, and my BB works fine now. Anyone else have this problem and/or find a workaround?

i heard it was taken down because it infringes on some patent from sprint... thats why i didnt put a copy up

i,Call ManagerEx/US Edition: Pinpoint caller's locations on the Blackberry Maps and caller's area name on Phone screen.

This program is more in depth and even integrates into BB maps to show you where the caller is calling from.
