Hello addicts. So i just retired my 8830 for my new verizon wireless 8330. I have connected it to my machine and trying to run app loader in the desktop manger and receiving this message.

The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.

Any ideas? Thanks!!

That means you have one more step to complete. After Desktop Manager is installed, download and install a copy of the BlackBerry Device Software, specific to your device.

Thanks - only problem is verizon does not yet have the software posted for their 8330 since it's release date in 5/9. Can i use the 8830 download?
