I am new to BB so please be patient. I set up my AOL e-mail account on my BB and I the phone doesn't ring when mail comes in. Just the LED flashes to notify me. I adjusted the sound setting correctly yet still no sound. My SMS sounds come through OK though.
I have a Sprint 8330 Curve with 4.5.0.131 installed.
Profiles > Advanced > Select the profile you're using > Messages[your aol.com email account] > modify the settings the way you want to be alerted, both Out of Holster and In Holster...
