i have the 8330m and updated the os to .169. does anyone know any way at all i can watch youtube video in true full screen, without the black borders on the screen?

You could try "XENOZU YouTube player" it's in the berry app world. It has full screen support. I have tried this app, it has some nice features but with such limited memory on the curve, I have little room for a youtube player. Still you might want to check it out!

Would you recommend using that over youtube? Because I haven't been super happy with youtube using the internet on my BB. For some reason, I can't find certain videos that I can by searching youtube from a PC.
