I have a blackberry curve 8310.I tried to set a makaveli picture as my home screen image, but when i did it only displayed the center part of the picture with a white bar on top,and white bar on bottom.I tried zooming in on it then setting it...nothing.I read another post saying to resize it to 240X260 and then saving it to my phone and reset it at that size......nothing.It still appears with the white bar on the top and bottom.Does anyone know how i can full screen the image?

    Any help would be great!
    Thx

    Hi

Go to media, open picture, if it does not fill screen hit menu key and select zoom, zoom until it fills the screen then hit menu key and select 'set as wallpaper'. This method does distort the picture a little bit.

If this does not work then the problem may be the theme you are using.

Yea that doesnt work. When i do that it displays the image, but the top part and bottom part are cut off.The only part that appears is the section of where the icons are.Above the icons is a white area, and below the icons theres a white area!

Strange. It could be the theme, have you tried the picture with other themes?

Hopefully some one else will have a solution maybe.

    A Curve has a screen resolution of 320 x 240.

Try the above as a sample. Note that this file is only 6Kb so it uses a minimal amount of Device Memory. You will need to reduce the pixels per inch and the color depth in order to minimuze memory.

Highlight icon, hit menu key and select move application , move it to where you want it to go then hit menu key again or trackball and select 'move here or complete move'. The top five icons on the desktop are the ones that show on the homescreen.

Only by installing new themes with different icons.
