I think they'll release it as soon as everyone on all the internet forums stop asking about it. Then, and only then, Verizon will grant everyone with the almighty OS 4.5. By that point, though, all other carriers will have OS 4.6... at which point, everyone can start asking when 4.6 will be released by Verizon.

either that or they allow us to upgrade to 4.5 by paying a fee that would otherwise be free anywhere else
